In December, I asked myself what I really needed to lose weight in the New Year and the answer was: "to weigh in every day". The problem is that it is hard to find an accurate bathroom scale whose numbers you can read (when you're bleary-eyed in the morning) and that doesn't have silly extras I don't want. Also, most scales make you "tap" them before you step on, which makes me crazy because a light tap won't work and a firm tap moves the scale, which makes me worry I've thrown it off. Well, this scale is an answer to my prayers! It comes with batteries, which I appreciated, and you pop those in. Then, there's something simple you do to calibrate it before you weigh-in for the first time -- so simple, I don't even recall what it was! Then, you step on the scale -- no tapping beforehand needed! -- and your weight comes up after a second or two -- and you actually can read the numbers because they are large and well lit! I've been weighing in every day since 2015 started and I am losing weight because I know that the number on this scale is accurate and that numbers don't lie. I am motivated throughout the day to avoid the carbs because I know that I'll be stepping on an ACCURATE scale the next morning.
Our old scale finally broke, so it was time to get a new one, and this time I was looking for something elegant looking. This scale really caught my attention with its stylish glass 2-tone finish. It has a nice big LCD display that's been perfectly accurate. It's super easy to use and set up; simply insert the AAA batteries and stand on the scale to automatically turn it on. It shuts off after 5 seconds once you step down, which makes efficient use of the batteries (our old scale devoured batteries). Overall I'm very happy with the modern look, and straightforward functionality, so I can recommend it
